The best things to take on a sun holiday

As you probably know, I went with my family to Lanzarote at Easter.  Now, the weather wasn’t really hot but seeing as I am allergic to the sun and Nathan is only 6, I like to be prepared.

So, I took with me a lovely range of Avon products…

SPF 30 Quick Dry Clear Spray sun lotion – this is the best thing ever!  It goes on clear and dries as if it is not there, all the while providing a good level of protection – I didn’t come out in the normal heat rash and I didn’t burn at all.  All three of us used this and got on very well with it.  The only thing I would say is that it isn’t very moisturising – so an after sun is needed.

Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray – this has been recommended to me as the best bug repellent around and I can say it worked as well as moisturising my skin pretty well.

Aloe Ice Gel After Sun – this is great, it is a lovely cooling gel that works well to cool and soothe burnt skin (yes – when I didn’t put my sun cream on!) It’s also good for calming irritated skin just like an aloe vera gel.

Work Out Mules – these great ‘Fit Flop’ style sandals were very comfortable and could be worn during the day with shorts but also in the evening with something a little smarter.

Anew 3 in 1 Cleansing Water – I have a little 50ml travel size bottle of my favourite cleanser – it does the job of a makeup remover, cleanser and toner in one so really saves on space and weight in the suitcase – which means room for more shoes 😉

I obviously took lots of other Avon products, but these are the ones that I feel everyone should take with them in the future.
